ABOUT US
Dr. Jim, DVM
Founder and Veterinarian
Dr. Jim founded Country Pet Clinic in 2001. He knew that his love for helping and healing animals would benefit the community of Black River Falls.
He attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls followed by the University of Minnesota’s College of Veterinary Medicine where he earned his doctorate in veterinary medicine.
Dr. Jim enjoys all aspects of interacting with pets and their owners. He’s passionate about seeing pets live long, happy lives with their owners. He just wishes that pets could live forever, so no owner would have to say “good-bye” to their beloved best friend.
When he’s not at Country Pet Clinic, Dr. Jim can be found spending his free time with his grandchildren and watching them grow and blossom day after day. He also enjoys caring for his horses.
Dr. Heather Oslie, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Heather Oslie came to Country Pet Clinic in 2017. She loves the wide array of pets and cases she attends to. She enjoys being able to help pets and their people through tough times, but she also doesn’t hesitate to celebrate the best of times with patients and their owners.
Dr. Oslie attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and continued onto the University of Wisconsin’s School of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated in 2015 with her doctorate in veterinary medicine.
During her downtime, Dr. Oslie enjoys training her Australian Shepherds. She works with them to master herding, obedience, and conformation. And when she’s not conducting training sessions with her Aussies, she can be found working on her farm or hiking with her husband.
Dr. Oslie’s team of blazing Australian Shepherds includes Smoke, Quil, Ember, Swindle, and Carbon. She has a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Jack. She also has sheep, cattle, ducks, and cats that call her farm their “home.”
Dr. Micki, DVM
Veterinarian
Since joining Country Pet Clinic in 2002, Dr. Micki is grateful to be part of a synergistic team that values and supports the human-animal bond. She appreciates the daily variety of medical and surgical challenges and the opportunity to enhance the health and welfare of so many wonderful Wisconsin pets.
Dr. Micki graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Wisconsin.
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys camping, boating, hiking, jogging, and exploring nature with her husband, daughter, and dogs: two senior Chesapeake Bay Retrievers named Muddy & Suzie and a crazy young Greyhound named Quiver. Her family also includes a mischievous Siamese mix named Marsha Mel.

Certified Veterinary Technician
Jill Olson plays a vital role at Country Pet Clinic as a certified veterinary technician. She joined the team in 2001, and she looks forward to every workday because she knows that no two days are ever the same here. She insists that spending time with puppies and kittens is a wonderful perk of the job, but feeling like part of a family at Country Pet Clinic truly makes her job unbeatable.
She enjoys spending time with her non-Country-Pet-Clinic family as well. Her animal family includes cats, ducks, chickens, and aquarium fish. Jill attended Madison Area Technical College, and she likes to read and fish.
